A new development was introduced by Simon Ourian M.D., President of American Association of Aesthetic Laser Medicine, at their annual meeting last week. Doctor Ourian presented the results of a study in which mature stretch marks were dramatically improved with a new treatment coined Coolbeam.

Laser have been used for a decade on fresh stretch marks that are still red, but the new Coolbeam utilizes a ND Yag laser, which seems to work effectively on mature, white stretch marks.
